Isolation Method
Reinforced Concrete Foundation Block on SRS Stud Rail System using Quad Layer Studflex Pads.

Block size : 14450mm x 2900mm x 800mm deep.
Mass = 80500 kg

Performance
Total Mass = 109140 kg

Quad Layer Studflex pads in 55° Shore Hardness Natural Rubber supporting 992 kg per pad.

14.4mm deflection achieved on each pad giving an isolator natural frequency of 4.8Hz.

This system is capable of providing isolation of vibration down to nearly 7Hz thus giving maximum protection against disturbances from the presses and other mechanical plant which are in close proximity.

This system was designed, supplied and installed by Christie & Grey.
