Engineers in Vibration and Shock Control since 1914
Supplying Anti Vibration Mounts Worldwide

Worldwide Experience — Cost Effective Solutions — Uncompromising Performance
Every company maintains that it is unique in the breadth of expertise it offers - the difference is, at Christie and Grey we'll be happy to show you the proof.
Mr. Robert Bertram Grey
Founded in 1914, Christie & Grey have been manufacturing rugged and efficient vibration, noise and shock control solutions for nearly 100 years. The experience and knowledge gained in the field of Vibration and Shock Isolation makes us the perfect partner to offer Technical Support and assistance with product selection for your project.
As one of the first companies in the world to specialise in structure borne noise control, Christie & Grey is routinely designing ground breaking installations with world class performance. That expertise and practical experience is brought to each new project and has made us a leading manufacturer of performance based engineered solutions for vibration, structure borne noise and shock control.
Our head office is based in the UK and in 2009 we opened our North American and Canadian office.
Christie & Grey is a company well prepared to meet the most complex challenges posed by modern engineering projects.
The company's way forward lies in the field of building noise control, marine and offshore engineering, power generation, rail traction, commercial vehicles and general industrial and commercial developments - these are all areas where Christie & Grey has and will continue to develop a worldwide reputation.
Our comprehensive range of standard and special purpose anti vibration mounts and vibration isolators utilises all the principal means of vibration and shock isolation, including steel springs and natural and synthetic elastomers and is backed by our "in-house" computer design facility offering analysis of system characteristics and performance.
In addition to our standard range of anti vibration mounts and shock isolators, we offer services for the design and supply of isolators and mounting systems to meet the precise needs of the original equipment manufacturer or a project engineering application.
As part of our service to you the customer, we will work with you to select the most appropriate product for your application, this may be a Spring Product, a Rubber Product or in some cases a Combined Spring & Rubber Product.
Once the data for your equipment is collected, we use our "in-house" computer design facility to provide analysis of system characteristics and performance of your equipment. We take into account the equipment mass, rotational or running speed, the environment in which it will be used and many other factors to offer you the best solution at a competitive price.
Every problem receives individual consideration using our in-house data processing capability which enables us to evaluate the most complex of problems. If your equipment is a fairly straightforward land based application, we use our “MountSel” selection software, for more complex Marine and Shock applications we use our 6 Degrees of Freedom software CRMS.

Quality is fundamental to all aspects of our service which is endorsed by our registration to BS EN ISO 9001:2008
Many of our Marine products are Lloyd’s registered and have DNV approval.
